Sparkol Studio: Our Work

We bring energy and creativity to every project. Our team of animators and video production specialists have worked with some of the biggest global brands, non-profits and educators to help them share their stories through custom animation.

Whether you're a startup with big ambitions or an established business with a new story to tell, we’ll turn your ideas into engaging animated videos that people will remember.

From explainer videos and training content to marketing animations and presentations, our animation studio creates visual stories that actually connect. We specialize in transforming complicated stuff into clear, compelling animated content, be that full animated video production or producing bespoke illustrations for you to use in VideoScribe.

Take a look at some of our recent work. And if you like what you see…get in touch!

Engaging young people with IVE

IVE is a UK-based charity, created to nurture and inspire talented young people from disadvantaged communities. We worked alongside them to create a series of 2D animations to help them explain the creative thinking process to their audience of young people, while introducing complex concepts such as divergent and convergent thinking. Championing the story of sustainability

Our team in the Studio loved working on this project, very close to our hearts - with its message of sustainability and the ongoing battle against climate change. Using bold and contemporary 2D illustrations, layered to create an eye-catching 3D effect, the client's key goal to promote five key facts about the climate was brought to life in a beautifully engaging way.

Explaining Bitcoin...

Our creative team used a variety of 3D animation styles to create this short explainer video "5 things you didn't know about Bitcoin", designed to present an introduction to the global cyrptocurrency in an accessible and engaging way. Alas, we didn't get paid in Bitcoin...

Targeting mental health with the World Health Organisation

The COVID-19 pandemic has seen a huge rise in people reporting issues with their mental health and wellbeing. The WHO, who produced their primary COVID-19 information video using our VideoScribe software, worked with the Sparkol Studio team to create an engaging and accessible animated video looking at ways to protect and improve our mental wellbeing during the pandemic.

Explaining financial services with US Assure

What's the fastest way to issue Residential Builders' Risk insurance in the USA? That's exactly the question US Assure wanted to answer with their XpressBIND service, showcasing it to their very industry-specific audience. Our studio team worked to create a bright and exciting animated explainer video packed with visual metaphors to explain their message. So now you know!

Explaining tailored curricula with Little Lever School

Explainer and brand videos are not just for companies. We're increasingly working with schools and educational establishments to help them tell their stories too. Little Lever School, based in the UK, wanted to explain their unique approach to their students' learning. We helped them visualize their message and create a fun, animated explainer to share with their audience.

Explainer videos for the Pharmaceutical sector...

Our studio artists designed a beautiful, whimsical and hand-drawn 2D animation style to create this short explainer video "5 facts you didn't know about the Pharmaceutical industry", bringing the narrative to life for the audience. Spoiler alert: did you know six of the top ten Big Pharma companies are based in the USA?

Explaining financial services with American Express

Our Studio team love a challenge, for example we often come across projects that require us to stick to some pretty specific visual brand guidelines - whether that is a local organization or a major global brand. One such project was our recent work with American Express, where we created a fully-custom set of characters for an animated video within AMEX's existing brand style and color palette.
